Located in Lexington, KY we are a small company focused on meeting the needs of our clients and their horses with care, integrity and attention to detail. 

Expertise developed in a 30 year career in Thoroughbred Racing.

Carolyn Conley brings together her lifelong passion for horses, years of hands on work with racehorses, and a deep understanding of how the Thoroughbred Racing world operates.

At Conley Bloodstock we know that understanding the horse, and understanding the industry are two different worlds.  We bring those two worlds together, whether in the sales pavilion buying horses, in the shed row managing a consignment, or with owners mapping out a race horse’s campaign.

Carolyn operates boutique consignments at Keeneland and Fasig-Tipton under the Conley Bloodstock banner.  With a hands-on approach she and her team are able to focus on the details of each horse. This encourages horses to flourish and present themselves to buyers in the best possible light.

Racing Luck! Carolyn is extremely particular when it comes to selecting horses for her clients, and it has paid off! She hand-picked Lady Claypoole (IRE) from the November ’23 Horses of Racing Age Sale at Keeneland for Abbondanza Racing. Lady Claypoole (IRE) has now won 3 straight races including the G3 Santa Ana Stakes at Santa Anita Park.

From the 2024 OBS Spring Sale Carolyn found Scipio as a two-year old in training. The son of Caravaggio is graded stakes placed as a 2 year-old and now a Stakes winner at 3!
